Sandra's classroom presentation is designed to be an introduction to the world of story telling. Every child has stories to tell, and her goal when conducting a workshop or presentation is to encourage and get them excited about writing. Since her book is about the "bedtime ritual", she reads to the children first, then uses the story as a starting point for discussions. Usually, she'll begin by taking questions about the book. From these questions, the doorway is opened to discuss both the subject matter of the story, as well as technical themes, such as rhyming verse, which her story is written in. This presentation is given to one or two classrooms at a time depending on age and size, and lasts around 45 -60 minutes.

Honorarium: $250.00 per day. If location is outside of the Kitchener/Waterloo area a 0.42 per kilometre charge would apply.
